"Really nice pub with good food but B&B very poor : would not return to stay."
Pub service & food good-staff very helpful. But B&B very poor : very noisy, shabbly and not very clean. Stayed on a Friday night, pub very busy and loud revelry went on long into the small hours making sleep impossible. This pub and B&B do not combine well. Breakfast was 'a no frills service' but food OK. Read less

Nice pub&would visit for food if in the area. But not much positive to say about the B&B: glad to leave?
Dislikes:
Too noisy to sleep. Cleanliness poor. Not a relaxing experience.

"Great place to stay with lovely owners and staff"
Booking was painless and we were shown to our rooms by the owner Helen. The rooms are exactly as you would expect from pub accommodation. Nice quality bedding and with tea and coffee making facilities in room. There is a sink in room but other facilities are shared with bathrooms on each floor which wasn’t a problem as there aren’t that many rooms. Tuesday night is folk night (Eat early as it fills up very quickly) and the bar is taken over by some seriously talented singers and guitarists. Limi Read less
