"Hidden Gem in Cornwall"
A 2 night mid-week stay following our wedding. Knew Cadgwith as a little girl in the late '60s and it hasn't changed a bit. Having read previous reviews wasn't quite sure what to expect but, frankly, if you're expecting a bland Holiday Inn type hotel then either stay away or prepare for a very pleasant surprise! Room was very comfy and clean with a very efficient shower. Tea/coffee making but no telly. You don't need one, just look out of the window. Lovely food, cosy bar, lovely place! Read less

Cadgwith hasn't changed in 40 years, delightful and so very Cornish.
Dislikes:
One or two of the staff were a bit stressed but our stay was immediatley after Jubilee Weekend so I can sympathise.

Leave your shiney 4x4s at home! You don't need them and nor do the Cornish lanes

"Don't forget the sleeping bag!"
Three very cold nights, unseasonal for May, showed the room to be lacking in double glazing, and draughty, and the quilts to be summer weight only. The convector heater did not help that much in the evening, but we switched that off at night. The shared bathroom/toilet was equally cold, if not colder, but improved when I managed to shut the window. The staff were friendly and pleasant: but since the place is now sold, maybe the new owners from June will try to improve the rooms? Read less

Good breakfast. Dinner was good too.
Dislikes:
I asked about any car parking facilities near the hotel but could not understand the answer given. The car park was a 10 minute walk up the valley, there was no real access for the car to drop cases.
