Had 3 nights here in June 2014 for a wedding we were attending nearby. The location and the weather were great - we ate twice at the inn and breakfasted there 3 times - all meals were good and wholesome. There was singing on Friday night and live music on Sunday. Read less

The service, the range of beers, the food and the ambience, as well as the stunning location in the cove. The live music was a boost and we felt at home here. Overall we would dfefinitely return.
Dislikes:
It is clear that the bedrooms need upgrading but the owners are taking obvious steps to do so. Of the 3 rooms we booked 2 were already being upgraded. Everything else was great.

My son and I stayed here for one night having walked from Porthleven during the day and then the next day walking to Falmouth as part of our 6 day 120+ miles walk of the Cornish Coastal Path. Made to feel most welcome by all staff who were most helpful and interested in what we were doing, especially the lovely and gorgeous Helen. Read less

The welcome, the room, the bathroom, the wonderful local seafood, the staff, the cider [3 available on draught]and the breakfast
Dislikes:
Usual selection of Cornish real ale, ie no fruity, hoppy ones; all malty and dark [but a very minor irritation especially with 3 ciders to try]

Shared bathroom but we knew the en suite rooms were fully booked. Perhaps they should provide bath robes so as not to cause embarrassment in hallway !!!

"Fantastic location and excellent dog-friendly pub"
This was our first visit to Cadgwith Bay and we loved the location, even though my husband found the hills quite a challenge! We had some lovely walks both from the bay itself as well as along nearby beaches. We also enjoyed the entertainment from the folk group on the Tuesday evening, and were sorry not to hear the Cadgwith Singers on a Friday. Altogether this is a typical English pub in the very best sense of the word, catering for both locals and holiday-makers. Read less
Likes:
Everyone at the pub was extremely friendly and helpful and all the food delicious. It was one of the most dog-friendly places we have ever stayed in, and our Golden Retriever was welcome everywhere.
Dislikes:
The beds were very narrow but, with fairly small rooms, this cannot be avoided. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his cooked breakfasts, but I would have appreciated a greater selection on the buffet

"Fabulous spring weekend"
A return visit for us after a two year gap. The recent refurbishments meant that the bedrooms and bathrooms were spotless and comfortable. We were delighted too that the bar remains just the same fabulously friendly, proper pub environment and hasn't been refurbed up into an interior design brochure! The best thing is the wonderful sense of community and that, even though we're visiting tourists, we're welcome to join the throng. Read less
